That’s how CIV describes himself as a DJ. Hailing from the small town of Pontiac in Metro Detroit, CIV is never afraid to go too deep and try new things, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Know for his versatile style on the 1's & 2's He knows just how to get each and every party rockin'!  

 

Being multi-racial CIV has grown up on a wide verity of music, from old school hip-hop, R&B, and funk (Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Earth Wind & Fire, Bell Biv DeVoe, Temptations) from his dads side, To Hispanic hits, and classic pop (Kumbia Kingz, Selena, Elvis Crespo, Prince, Alicia Keys)  from his moms side, all which became infused with his own love for EDM, top 40 and throwback hits! Guaranteed to bring you the perfect music selection!

As very active member in the local music community, CIV is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in Nightclubs, Back yard BBQ's and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. DJ CIV has been into music since the 5th grade, where he started his musical journey in band all the way through is last year in high school, Learning the ins and outs of music, which created the creative DJ we know today! That's what makes DJ CIV so unique, at each and every event you'll always get something new and energetic!
